Abbott on the subject of terrorism

This was Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott on his feet in theAustralian Parliament on 22 September 2014; "Regrettably, for some time to come, the delicate balance between freedom and security may have to shift.”

These are the words he has been using in an attempt to make Australians believe that loss of basic human, legal and democratic rights is something we should not protest:

It is the responsibility of every citizen to decide if any of these words outweigh our keeping all the rights our forebears struggled so valiantly to achieve.
